The examples of the modern sportspersons are enough to vindicate my statement, crunch fitness, exhausting schedules, ripping abs structures are what make sportsmen desirable in their respective field of expertise. The change is visible not in the form of sport but in the dynamism of the state in which it is being run.

The influx of technological expertise has given a whole new dimension altogether to sport at large on a tactical or technical basis. Sports teams nowadays specifically employ such technical experts to provide technologically mended reports to assess their positives and negatives and thereby provide tactical analysis of the game intended to suit themselves. At the heart of sport, technology has become the harbinger of thought, strategy, and successes. Technological developments are also being made to provide seamless access to information favorable to the desired party. It has proven to be a useful component at the behest of those left behind and has provided mechanisms in order to assess other chinks in the armor to create a stronger sleight of hand and the power to usurp and topple the opponent in one's conquest for success.

But the most important and significant of all these changes has been the role of money in the sport Oh, you were just waiting for it weren't you?!! But yeah the truth is actually that money has been the most revolutionary aspect of sport in the 21st century. Quoting figures here, on average the sports industry generates revenue in excess of $100 billion which is only expected to rise in the foreseeable future. So the question lies, How is so much money being pumped into the game after all? Well, the answer lies in the advent of sponsorship, advertising, broadcasting, and endorsements. Sporting stars and athletes are also being billed as commercial assets and thereby being snapped up by major marketing and business firms with the focus on promoting their own interests, this generates the cycle of generation of revenue. The influx of money has also seen the game tarnished with allegations of betting, match-rigging, and corruption flared up among media outlets nowadays which brings us to the next talking point.

The influence of media in sport is manifold, Nowadays nothing goes amiss from the eye of the media be it good or bad thereby having media hold a lot of power over the state of affairs as the public believes anything the media states prima facie. With the onset of broadcasting and advertising as mentioned before television revenues for broadcasting various sports competitions have skyrocketed with the demand for seamless watching of such games. The entertainment quotient also plays a huge role in enhancing the stronghold of media over sports at large.

Many more reasons hover over the condition of sports in the modern arena, these are what make the sport worth watching and living. As a part of the social spectrum, it forms part of our everyday life right from young to old. The sport in the 21st century has evolved more and has become more fast-paced than it was as goes by its evolutionary growth both as a way of life and also as a commercial entity, and the positive thing is it's only meant to grow and not fade at the least.
